Vintage L.&J.G Stickley 48" Prairie School Dining Table. Signed: "The Works of L.&J.G. Stickley", circa 1912-1918. Excellent tight condition, previously refinished. Beautiful quarter sawed white oak figure as evidenced in the top. This form is especially well developed with it's subtle reverse taper to the legs, the negative space between them, the curved shoe feet meeting under the legs above the arch in the feet. The base looks solid at one angle and as one walks around the table the base opens up visually. We purchased this table without leaves, leaves can be made at an additional cost.
